Solarlok 2.0 connectors by TE Connectivity are toolless (field-installable) solutions for fitters of photovoltaic installations. The connection to the cable is made by inserting a non-insulated cable end and crimping the housing with pliers. The manufacturer estimates that the use of Solarlok 2.0 solutions allows to save up to 80% of the time spent on the assembly of connectors in photovoltaic installations.
TME’s offer includes three products of this series: male connector, female connector , and male/female connector set. The inside of the connector is filled with special gel that ensures IP68 rating. The maximum current conducted through the connector can reach the value of 35A (for conductors of 6mm2 cross-section).
